 On
the last Saturday of each July, the
New England Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society
present the Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show. During this
event, the Meredith public
docks are transformed into a history lovers fantasy. Even for
those who don't care for boats or for water, everyone who attends
the show leaves with a smile on their face and the urge to come
again next year.
This year, beginning on
July 31, 2004, over one hundred antique wooden boats will be on
display at the Meredith public docks. If you've
never seen them before, make a point to see them this year.
It's a decision you won't regret.
The boats,
all wooden and in mint condition, are stunningly beautiful by
themselves. Add in the scenic surroundings of Lake
Winnipesaukee, the Ossipee Mountains, and Mt. Chocorua in the
background and you've got the makings of a memorable day.
