Here are some stunning photos of the sights from the fabled Lucknow Estate. Photos are of the actual castle, the grounds, and just about everywhere else. We left out the spring and bottling plant tours to leave some surprises for when you visit.  Click on an image for a larger, clearer view.
 

Once you start to make your way up the road, your first stop will be to take a walk to the waterfall. Here is another shot of the view from the deck.  Pick a day with a low dewpoint and relative humidity to maximize visibility. This is in front of the stage house, where you can eat your food and take in the views. After lunch, burn off those calories by taking the footpath to castle instead of the tram. The wishing well is there for your use, don't forgot to make a wish! A backdrop formed by the Ossipee mountains can't be beat. Plenty of stunning flower gardens are around for those who enjoy a backdrop of flowers for their family photos. Seventy two square miles of Lake Winnipesaukee dominates the view. Another shot of the castles exterior. The outside of the castle is as as remarkable in details as the inside. Once you're in the castle, you can take the self guided tour and browse at your own pace. A den doesn't get much better than this. Plenty of space and mirrors. Coming down the footpath reveals a few more spots where great views can be had. Another shot of the view from coming down the footpath. Shannon Pond boasts trout so huge they look like sharks.  Bring some white bread to feed them. There are some picnic tables nearby the pond for those who wish to have a lunch with a view.

As the road winds up the Ossipee's, you'll come to this vista where you can pull over and step out onto the observation deck. Next, we're inside the stage house, where you can catch the tram to the castle or get some food and ice cream. Don't forget to stop in the gift shop and pick up a couple of souvenirs. Here's a great spot to line up the family for a photograph. Visit late in the summer so the flowers will be full size. The Castle is impressive from every angle. Beautiful views can be taken in from almost every direction. Need to cool off?  Enjoy the cool breeze and flowers in the shade. Thomas Plant insisted that each stone in the building have exactly five sides. Seventy two square miles of Lake Winnipesaukee dominate the view. Throw these guys some bread and they will jump clear out the water for it.
