Below are photos taken on the morning of May 6, 2002 during the Mt. Washington's annual shakedown cruise. The shakedown cruise is the first time each year that Mount sets out for it's scenic excursions around Lake Winnipesaukee. Along the way, various maneuvers are performed to test the Mount in preparation for the upcoming busy summer season. As usual, the Mount passed its tests with flying colors and was officially dubbed seaworthy for another season. The shakedown cruise is not open to the general public, but for some information on the plentiful cruises that are, just click here to access the website for the Mount.
