Lake Winnipesaukee Weather Today   A low pressure system moved across the region last night bringing a dusting to an inch of new snow. Clouds remain across most of the region this morning however a few areas in southern New Hampshire have sun peaking through. Temperatures will climb to the upper 40s in the south and even reach 40 in the northern mountain valley as increasing southwesterly flow brings warm air into the region. Thursday another quick moving weak low pressure system will bring another round of showers to the region with snow in the north and rain in the south as high temperatures again climb into the 40s along the coast under cloudy skies. The active pattern continues for Friday into Saturday as a large coastal low brings the potential for a return to winter to the region. Current trends indicate heavy snow possible in the mountains however, a good bit of forecast uncertainty remains with respect to precipitation timing and precipitation type.
